MANHEIM, Pa. – The National Wrestling Coaches Association released its third set of rankings for the 2018-19 season and The College of New Jersey moved up two spots to number 15. The Lions are one of just seven teams ranked in the previous poll to improve their ranking.

"The team has been wrestling very competitively with some of the toughest teams in the country," said head coach Joe Galante. "It is a plus when other coaches recognize our success. We will continue to train and rely on the leaders of our team. As a collective group, we are really looking forward to 2019."

TCNJ will put their new ranking to the test at the upcoming U.S. Merchant Marine Academy hosted Mariner Duals on Sunday. The Lions are expected to battle 18
th-ranked New York University at the event.

Individually,
Jake Giordano maintained his number nine ranking at 133 pounds.
Ryan Budzek remained steady at 149 pounds, where he is ranked eighth.
Dan Kilroy dropped three spots at 174 pounds to eighth in the weight class.

The next coaches rankings are set to be released Friday, Dec. 21.
