Ewing, NJ… The College of New Jersey men's tennis fell 6-3 at the hands of 12
th-ranked University of Mary Washington Saturday afternoon. The Lions are 6-6 on the season and the Eagles are 18-3.
The Lions fell behind 2-1 in doubles play. TCNJ got a tiebreak victory from
Omar Bokhari (Lake Hiawatha, NJ/Parsippany) and
Tim Gavornik (Millington, NJ/Watchung Hills). In singles, TCNJ got wins from
Matt Puig (Allendale, NJ/Northern Highlands) at number two and Gavornik at number four.
The Lions will host Ramapo College Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 PM.
