Ewing, NJ… The College of New Jersey men's tennis team earned a solid 7-2 victory over Ramapo College Tuesday afternoon. The Lions improved to 7-6 on the season, while the Roadrunners dropped to 9-6.

In doubles action, the Lions jumped out to a 3-0 lead on a trio of 8-3 wins.
Matt Puig (Allendale, NJ/Northern Highlands) and
Thomas Wright (Upper Saddle River, NJ/Upper Saddle River) won at number one.
Omar Bokhari (Lake Hiawatha, NJ/Parsippany) and
Tim Gavornik (Millington, NJ/Watchung Hills) got the victory at number two.
Sean Reilly (Spring Lake, NJ/Christian Brothers Academy) and
Andrew Mok (Springfield, VA/Robert E. Lee) combined for the win at number three.

TCNJ earned four wins in singles, all coming in straight sets. Wright led the way with a 6-1, 6-0 victory.

TCNJ returns to action Saturday when they host SUNY Oneonta at 11:00 AM. After the match, the team will honor its graduating member.
