CAMDEN, N.J. – The College of New Jersey women's tennis team earned their second sweep over an NJAC opponent in as many days defeating Rutgers-Camden 9-0 on the road Thursday night. The Lions improve to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the NJAC, while the Scarlet Raptors fall to 1-1 both overall and in league play.

The Lions jumped out quickly in doubles play winning all three contests highlighted by an 8-0 win at number two by
Alyssa Baldi and
Navya Yemula.

In singles play, the Lions won five matches in straight sets and the sixth due to retirement. At number two,
Katrine Luddy did not drop a single game. Baldi matched the feat at number three.

Liya Davidov earned a 6-0, 6-2 win at number one.
Sarah Phung won with identical 6-1, 6-1 scores.

The Lions return to action Saturday when they host a singles tournament against NYU and University of the Sciences.
