EWING, N.J. – The College of New Jersey wrestling team won its 10
th straight dual Friday night, defeating Springfield College 38-7 in Packer Hall. It's the 13
th-ranked Lions (10-1) second win in as many weeks over the Pride (9-5) after a win in the semifinals of the Budd Whitehill Duals. The 10 match winning streak is the longest for TCNJ since an 11 game run during the 2015-16 season.

TCNJ got off to a quick start as
Jacob Falleni earned a bonus point with a major decision victory at 125 pounds, earning six near fall points on his way to the win. At 133 pounds,
Jake Giordano battled to a 5-5 score through three periods, and a dominant ride earned Giordano a bonus point and the victory.

Midway through the second period at 141,
Robert Dinger drove through his opponent and quickly seized the opportunity by converting the position into a pin. The fall is his team-leading 10
th of the season.
Ryan Budzek pushed through a bloody battle at 149, earning the Lions a bonus point and extending the advantage to 17-0.

Following a decision victory at 157 by
Mark Gerstacker, TCNJ put the match away thanks to a forfeit victory at 165.

Dan Kilroy matched Dinger with his 10
th pin of the season late in the second period at 174. Kilroy has now recorded double-digit falls in each of his first three seasons. Springfield would respond with decision win at 184.

Quinn Haddad got the Lions third pin of the day, winning in the opening round at 197.

The Lions return to action at the John Reese Duals hosted by Wilkes College on Sunday beginning at 11 a.m.
