EWING, N.J. – The College of New Jersey men's tennis team defeated another ranked team Saturday, knocking off 34
th-ranked University of Rochester 6-3. The 29
th-ranked Lions improved to 13-2, while the Yellowjackets fell to 11-4.

TCNJ got off to a 3-0 start in doubles play.
Matthew Michibata and
Tim Gavornik cruised to an 8-1 win at number one. At number two,
Mitchel Sanders and
Gokul Murugesan took an 8-4 decision.
Andrew Mok and
Matt Puig won 8-6 at number three.

In singles play, Sanders won in straight sets at number one. Michibata dropped his opening set before storming back to take the second and third sets at number two. At number five, Puig was a straight set winner.

The Lions will have a quick turn around when they take the courts tomorrow against Goucher College at 12 p.m.
