EWING, N.J. – The College of New Jersey men's tennis team was dominant Sunday, rolling to an 8-1 victory over Goucher College. The 29
th-ranked Lions improved to 14-2 on the season, while the Gophers fell to 14-4.

The Lions took control of the match in doubles play.
Mitchel Sanders and
Gokul Murugesan won 8-2 at number two, and
Matthew Michibata and
Tim Gavornik took an 8-5 win at number one. Tied 6-6,
Matt Puig and
Andrew Mok held serve before breaking to win the match.

In singles play, TCNJ won at courts two through six. Michibata, Gavornik, and
Achyuth Balijepalle each won in straight sets. Puig and
Justin Wain each fought back after dropping set one to win their respective matches.

The Lions return to action when they travel to Stevens on Apr.24 for a 3 p.m. match.
