HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The College of New Jersey field hockey team put together a second consecutive complete team performance Saturday, defeating Juniata College 4-0. The sixth-ranked Lions improved to 2-0 with the win, while the Eagles dropped to 0-2.

TCNJ broke through early in the second quarter.
Cayla Andrews calmly converted her second penalty stroke of the season for her fourth goal of the year. The Lions took a 1-0 lead into the half. Andrews continued her accent of the program record book, moving into 18
th place in career points. The senior now has 110 for her career.

TCNJ held a 15-1 advantage in the game in penalty corners. The Lions also produced a 26-1 shot advantage.

Maddie Beaumont played the entire 60 minutes to earn the shutout.

The Lions will play on the road again when they return to action on Sept. 10. TCNJ travels to DeSales University for a 7 p.m. start.
