HOPEWELL, N.J. – The No. 40 TCNJ men's tennis fell on Saturday to Franklin & Marshall, 6-3. The Lions fell to 3-2 with the loss, and the Diplomats evened their record at 1-1.
Matthew Michibata and
Justin Wain got the Lions off to a strong start with an 8-3 victory at first doubles. The Diplomats responded with wins at second and third doubles.
In singles play, Michibata won at number one, 6-0, 6-1.
Nikola Kilibarda was victorious at number six, 6-0, 6-3. Franklin & Marshall took the other four courts with three wins coming in straight sets.
The Lions return to action on Sunday when they host Goucher at 2 p.m.
