HOPEWELL, N.J. – The TCNJ women's tennis team remained unbeaten with an 8-1 victory over Franklin & Marshall on Saturday. The Lions improved to 10-0 with the victory, while the Diplomats dropped to 0-3.
TCNJ cruised to a 3-0 lead in doubles play.
Liya Davidov and
Katrine Luddy won, 8-1, at number one.
Charlotte Roarty and
Jenny Landells combined for an 8-1 win at number two.
Anusha Rangu and
Alexa Vasile won, 8-3, at number three.
In singles play, Davidov, Roarty, and Luddy all won in straight sets.
Sarah Phung and Navy Yemula each won pro sets, a single set played until one athlete wins eight games.
The Lions are back in action on Sunday, when they host Wilmington at 11 a.m.
