TCNJ Athletics is celebrating the best games in recent years by showing the original broadcast or highlights packages from those games.

Today's classic replay comes from Nov. 19, 2017. The TCNJ women's soccer team advanced to its 12^th NCAA Final Four in program history after a dramatic match against Messiah College in the Elite Eight. Messiah claimed a 1-0 lead in the first half. In the second half, Jessica Goldman scored in the 59^th minute to tie the game. Neither side was able to break through in the second half or overtime, and the match went into penalty kicks.

Christine Levering got the Lions ahead in the first penalty kick. TCNJ goalkeeper Nicole DiPasquale came up with a clutch diving save on the ensuing Messiah kick. Elizabeth Thoresen and Kayla Bertolino both found the back of the net, and DiPasquale came up with another save. Haley Bodden sealed the deal to push the Lions past the Falcons and into the Final Four of the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.
