EWING, N.J. – The TCNJ women's tennis team took to the courts for the first time in over a calendar year on Saturday morning and played as though they had not missed a day. The Lions topped Southern Virginia University 9-0 to extend their winning streak to 12 straight matches dating back through the 2019-20 season.

The Lions opened the day with a sweep in doubles action.
Liya Davidov and
Katrine Luddy won, 8-2, on court one.
Charlotte Roarty and
Jenny Landells combined for an 8-1 victory on court two.
Alexa Vasile and
Chase Eisenberg completed the sweep on court three win an 8-2 win.

All six Lions won in straight sets in singles play. Roarty was dominant in singles play, winning, 6-0, 6-0, on court one.
Sarah Phung matched Roarty, not dropping a game on court six. Luddy earned a 6-0, 6-1 win at number three. In her first-career singles match, Eisenberg won, 6-0, 6-2, at number four.
Anusha Rangu claimed a 6-0, 6-3 victory on court five and Davidov won, 6-4, 6-4, at number two.

The Lions return to action when they host Coppin State on Tuesday. Match time is currently set for noon.
