WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – The TCNJ women's tennis team extended its winning streak to 16 straight matches, defeating Stockton 9-0 on Wednesday evening. The Lions improved to 5-0 on the season and 3-0 in NJAC play. The Ospreys evened their record at 1-1 both overall and in the conference.

The Lions earned the victory without losing a single match, something TCNJ has done in every match this year. In doubles play,
Katrine Luddy and
Liya Davidov were pushed to the brink at number one, requiring a tiebreak to defeat their opponents 8-7 (7-2).
Charlotte Roarty and
Jenny Landells cruised to an 8-2 victory at number two and
Alexa Vasile and
Chase Eisenberg combined for an 8-0 win at number three.

In singles play, Vasile provided the clinching team point with a 6-0, 6-0 win on court six. Davidov and
Anusha Rangu also won without losing a single game at number two and five respectively. Roarty won in straight sets at number one, winning 6-1, 6-3. Luddy was victorious 6-0, 6-1 at number three. Eisenberg needed a third-set superbreaker, but pulled through with a 6-7 (4-7), 6-0, 10-5 win on court four.

The Lions return to action on Saturday when they travel to Ramapo for a noon start.
