MAHWAH, N.J. – The TCNJ women's tennis team moved one step closer to securing the number one seed in the upcoming NJAC Tournament with a 9-0 victory over Ramapo on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Lions improved to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the conference. The Roadrunners evened their record at 2-2 both overall and in the NJAC.

The win is the 17
th in a row for TCNJ dating back to the start of the 2019-20 season.

In doubles play,
Liya Davidov and
Katrine Luddy and
Charlotte Roarty and
Jenny Landells both won 8-0 on courts one and two respectively. The Roadrunners did not contest third doubles.

Roarty cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 win at first singles. At number two, Davidov won in straight sets 6-1, 6-1. Luddy and
Anusha Rangu did not drop a game at third and fifth singles respectively.
Chase Eisenberg led 3-0 in the first set when her opponent retired. The Roadrunners did not contest sixth singles.

The Lions can clinch the top seed in the upcoming NJAC Tournament with a win on Sunday when they travel to Rutgers-Camden. The match is set to begin at noon.
