CAMDEN, N.J. – The TCNJ men's tennis team closed out the regular season on Sunday afternoon, defeating Rutgers-Camden 9-0. The Lions end the regular season at 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the NJAC. The team will be the number two seed in the upcoming NJAC Tournament. The Scarlet Raptors fall to 0-2 both overall and in league play. They will be either the three or four seed in the tournament based on the result of their final dual match.

The Lions got off to an early lead in doubles play.
Justin Wain and
Matthew Michibata won 8-3 at number one.
Akul Telluri and
Adrian Tsui claimed an 8-2 victory on court two. At third singles,
Rahul Panoli and
Derek Jordan won 8-2.

TCNJ got straight-set wins in all six singles matches. Wain, Michibata, and Panoli won without losing a game at numbers one, two, and six respectively. Tsui won 6-1, 6-1 at number three. At fourth singles, Telluri won 6-1, 6-1. Jordan won 6-1, 6-0 on court five.

The Lions will host an NJAC Semifinal Match on Friday, May 7 at a time and against an opponent that are yet to be determined.
