EWING, N.J. – The TCNJ men's tennis team advanced to the first-ever NJAC Championship Match, defeating Ramapo 5-0 in the NJAC Semifinals on Friday. The Lions improved to 6-1 with the victory, while the Roadrunners fell to 1-3.

The Lions got off to a quick start in doubles play, winning all three matches. Justin Wain and Matthew Michibata as well as Adrian Tsui and Akul Telluri won without dropping a single game at numbers one and two respectively. Derek Jordan and Rahul Panoli claimed an 8-2 win at third doubles.

In singles play, it was a race to be one of the first two Lions to complete the individual match and clinch the team win. All six Lions won their opening set and were winning in the second. Michibata and Panoli were the lucky finishers for TCNJ. Michibata won 6-0, 6-0 at second singles and Panoli won 6-1, 6-0 at number five.
