EWING, N.J. – The TCNJ men's tennis team continued its undefeated start to the 2020-21 season, defeating SUNY Oneonta, 9-0, on Friday afternoon. The win moves the Lions to 3-0 on the year, while the match was the first of the year for the Red Dragons.
 
For the third-straight match, 
Matthew Michibata and 
Justin Wain won at first doubles. 
Akul Telluri and 
Adrian Tsui paired for an 8-2 victory on court two. 
Derek Jordan and 
Rahul Panoli combined for an 8-5 win at number three.
 
All six Lions won in straight sets in singles play. Wain, Michibata, and Tsui dropped just one game each on their way to wins at one, two, and three respectively. Telluri won 6-1, 6-4 at number four. Jordan was victorious 6-3, 6-0 at number five. At number six, Panoli won the tightest match of the day 7-5, 6-1.
 
The Lions return to action Saturday, April 10 when they open NJAC play by hosting NJCU at 1 p.m.
