EWING, N.J. – The 18
th-ranked TCNJ softball team will close out its regular season with a doubleheader against William Paterson on Saturday. The Lions are in second place in the NJAC standings with a 14-2 record, which is just one game behind Rowan for first place. William Paterson is tied for fourth with a 9-7 conference mark.
Following the doubleheader, the Lions will hold Senior Day to honor their Class of 2021. TCNJ will recognize

HOME COOKIN'
The Lions are undefeated at home this season, rocking an 8-0 record at Dr. June Walker Field heading into the regular season finale. TCNJ is 32-6 at home dating back to the beginning of the 2018 season.
SHUTTING THEM DOWN
The Lions' pitching staff has tallied an efficient 1.65 ERA, which ranks 17
th in all of NCAA Division III. TCNJ ranks 10
th in WHIP with a mark of 1.01 and 14
th in shutouts with nine.
Namit has pitched to a 0.96 ERA, which ranks 22
nd in the nation. Her average of 3.21 hits per seven innings also rank her sixth among all players in NCAA Division III.
SMOOTH WITH THE GLOVE
TCNJ has played effective defense this season with a fielding percentage of .972 to rank 26
th in NCAA Division III.
TOUGH AT BAT
Lauren Conroy has yet to strike out this season, which makes her one of only 54 players in all of NCAA Division III that hasn't struck out in 2021. Conroy is hitting .370 with 14 RBIs this season.
THE POSTSEASON AWAITS
The NJAC Tournament will begin next week, with the first round beginning on May 4, and the quarterfinals to begin on May 7. The first round will be a single-elimination game, while the quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship will all be a best-of-three series.
