GLASSBORO, N.J. – TCNJ men's soccer goalkeeper Julian Franco made seven saves, but the Lions fell at Rowan, 1-0. The loss is the first for TCNJ in NJAC play in 2021.
 
The decider and the lone goal of the night for Rowan came in the 60^th minute. Matias Carrion scored after he corralled a loose ball in the box and found a way to beat Franco.
 
The Lions had a flurry about 10 minutes prior to the Rowan tally. TCNJ had two corner kicks and three shots in a three-minute stretch, with shots by Sebastian Hernandez and Ryan Santos both saved by Rowan keeper James Weinberg.
 
TCNJ returns home to host Montclair State on Saturday at 6 p.m. as part of Homecoming and Parent & Family Day.
