EWING, N.J. – The TCNJ baseball team will host Arcadia at Trenton Thunder Ballpark on April 26, the athletics department announced Friday. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Admission for the game is free, and TCNJ will provide free transportation from campus for students.
"We are thrilled to partner with the Trenton Thunder in order to provide the opportunity for our baseball team to play in a professional ballpark," said Amanda DeMartino, TCNJ Executive Director of Athletics. "We are hopeful that we can make this an annual tradition for our student-athletes and the campus community."
The Trenton Thunder have been a community staple since 1994, and the Thunder are currently a member of the MLB Draft League. The league serves as a showcase for top draft-eligible prospects.
The TCNJ baseball team is coming off an appearance in the NJAC Tournament semifinals, the fifth year in the past six that the Lions have won at least two games in the NJAC Tournament. TCNJ has won NJAC Championships in 2017 and 2019.
