GENEVA, N.Y. – A pair of TCNJ field hockey student-athletes were unveiled as All-Americans by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) on Tuesday afternoon.

Rayhanah Ahmed was named as a first team All-American, the 47
th in program history to earn the distinction. The junior repeats as an All-American after being selected onto the second team last season, becoming the 31
st Lion to be selected for multiple All-American honors.
Ahmed rounds out her vast list of awards won this season that includes the NJAC Offensive Player of the Year and first-team All-NJAC as well as first-team All-Region IV honors. Ahmed finished the 2023 season with career highs in points (33), goals (11) and assists (11), all of which led the Lions and ranked top-five within the NJAC.
Junior
Claire Engebreth took home third team All-American honors to wrap up an awards-filled season that included the NJAC Midfielder of the Year nod as well as first team All-NJAC and first team All-Region selections. The junior finished her season with a career-high 16 points as well as five goals and six assists, while also playing a major role in the Lions defense.
The pair marks the second-consecutive season in which the Lions have had multiple All-Americans.
