MECHANICSBURG, PA.- The TCNJ wrestling team wrapped up their weekend at the Messiah Open on Saturday. The Lions had six wrestlers place in the top eight of their respective weight classes.

Mayson Harms (149) was one of two members of the Blue and Gold to place third on Saturday. Harms started his day strong with a trio of wins, moving him on to the semifinal. Following a semifinal loss, Harms secured back-to-back wins in the consolation bracket to claim third.

Alejandro Camarena (197) also placed third for TCNJ on a much different route. Following a first round bye, Camarena fell in the quarterfinal and was sent to the consolation bracket. The freshman proceeded to rattle off three wins in a row with two pins to take third place.

Freshman
Aidan Carmody (125) seized a fourth-place finish for the Lions after back-to-back wins and then a semifinal loss. Carmody won the first consolation match, advancing to the third-place bout but could not secure victory, falling 13-12 in an thrilling match.

Sophomore
Dave Giulian (184) went 3-2 on the day, finishing in seventh place. After trading wins and losses in the first four matches, Giulian thrived in the seventh-place match in a 16-0 tech. fall win.
The last two wrestlers to place for TCNJ were
Luke Theis (165) and
Jimmy Dolan (174), who both went 3-3 on the day to finish in eighth place.

TCNJ wrestling is back home for Senior Night next Friday as they are set to host Centenary at 6 PM.
