ANNVILLE, Pa. – The TCNJ women's lacrosse team rolled to a convincing 16-3 victory at Lebanon Valley on Saturday, making it back-to-back double-digit road wins to start the season.
Marissa Lucca,
Kira Sides, and
Ally Tobler each netted three goals to lead a balanced attack, which also featured a pair of goals from senior
Madison Wernik to double her previous career output. Wernik also caused three turnovers in front of
Julia Charest and
Hailey Wexler, who combined to turn away eight of 11 on-target shots as the Lions pitched a second-half shutout.
FOR THE RECORD
- TCNJ is now 2-0, while the Dutchmen dropped to 1-3

- LVC's third goal came with 4:44 left before halftime, and TCNJ did not allow another one. The Lions put the game away before the break, getting goals from Sides, Tobler, and Lucca in a 39-second ambush to send the blue and gold roaring into intermission with a 10-3 advantage
- With the defense continuing to dominate, TCNJ put three goals on the board in each of the final two quarters. Lucca's goal with 9:51 left in the third started the running clock with a 13-3 lead, and first-year CJ Kole finished off the scoring with 5 seconds remaining
