EWING, N.J. - The TCNJ men's soccer team hung with visiting Drew for a while on Wednesday night, but the Rangers piled on the goals in the second half en route to a 5-0 victory.
 
The Rangers hit the woodwork twice in lightning quick succession within the first five minutes, the first a chip shot by Kevin Kiernan that came back off the crossbar and the next when Logan Gebhart dove to deflect Tino Puentes' rebound off the right post and back to safety. 
 
Drew grabbed the lead in the 33rd minute, when Konstantinos Papanikolas sent a long pass upfield for Kevin Kiernan, who brought it down with his right foot and shot past the dive of Logan Gebhart and into the lower left corner of the net.
 
The Lions were agonizingly close to an equalizer two minutes later as Matias Hornos got into the box with room to spare on the right side. He beat the goalkeeper, but James Cahill was there to clear the ball off the line.
 
The Rangers doubled their lead in the 52nd minute as Kevin Martinez lofted a shot over Gebhart's head from the edge of the box. Drew added a third just over two minutes later when Puentes sent in a cross from the right side and Kiernan stabbed in a left-footed volley for his second of the night.
 
Kiernan completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute.
