COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – TCNJ field hockey standout
Brigitte Racey was selected for the NFHCA Division III Senior Team, the organization announced Thursday.
Racey was one of 60 players across Division III chosen for the honor, which celebrates their competitive excellence, leadership, and lasting influence within their programs.
Selections are based on nominations submitted by NFHCA member coaches and reviewed by committees composed entirely of NFHCA coach members. Seniors are eligible for selection only once during their collegiate careers.
Racey turned in a sensational senior campaign, landing on the All-NJAC First Team for the second year in a row and becoming the first TCNJ netminder to claim Goalkeeper of the Year recognition since Christina Fabiano in 2017. Racey was an easy choice, posting three solo shutouts in league play and leading the conference by a wide margin in both goals-against-average (.484) and save percentage (.850).
For the season, Racey boasted an .836 save percentage and 1.01 GAA and has logged six solo clean sheets. She finished her career fourth in program history with 246 career saves and registered 15 shutouts.
