2025 All-NJAC Football Team

PITMAN, N.J. – Headlined by a dominant group of defenders, the TCNJ football team placed 10 players on the All-NJAC Team, released Friday morning by the league office.
 
Seniors Dave Giulian, Justin Kurc, and Jameson Sessa represented the Lions on the First Team Defense, with return man Albert D'Alessandro III earning a spot on the First Team as a return man.
 
Joe Visaggio, Tyler Addonisio, and Thomas Roarty were named to the Second Team offense, while Darian Ghahary and Dylan Patscher made the Second Team defense. Senior linebacker Bill Westerby received honorable mention.
 
Selections to the All-NJAC Team were made on the basis of conference-only statistics. 
 
Giulian made his return to the All-NJAC first team after leading the NJAC with 67 tackles in conference play. The senior middle linebacker, who led the league in total tackles a year ago, finished with a team-high 92 stops (5.0 TFLs) plus 1.5 sacks and an interception. He ended his career ninth in program history with 217 tackles.
 
Kurc rose to the first team after a second-team campaign a year ago. The senior co-captain continued his ball-hawking ways, picking off three passes in NJAC play and returning one for a score. Kurc paced the pride with six interceptions this fall, giving him 11 for his career.
 
Sessa is now a three-time All-NJAC honoree, making his debut on the first team following another disruptive year off the edge. The senior topped the NJAC with 11.0 tackles for loss and was second with 3.5 sacks in conference play, finishing the season with 12.5 TFLs and a team-high 4.0 sacks. Sessa racked up 29.0 tackles for loss and 14.5 sacks for his decorated career.
 
D'Alessandro was a starter at safety and also made his mark as a kick returner, averaging 24.1 yards per return and matching the school record with a 95-yard return for a touchdown against Rowan. The sophomore, who also had 32 tackles and a forced fumble, also racked up over 100 yards of kick returns at Montclair State.
 
Addonisio made an immediate impact as a transfer from Franklin & Marshall, starting most of the season at right guard. Along with Roarty, who started all year at tackle, the duo helped pave the way for an offense that ranked 34^th nationally in rushing yardage (207.7 YPG) and led the NJAC in average time of possession (31:58 per game).
 
Visaggio was the beneficiary of the Lions' dedicated ground game, racking up 685 yards and 12 touchdowns – just one off the single-season school record – in his senior season. Nine of those touchdowns came in league play, tied for third-most, and Visaggio was fourth in rushing yards (439) in NJAC contests. He scored in all but two games, including two-TD games against Rowan and Montclair State, and rushed for over 100 yards against Lycoming (111), Kean (116), and Christopher Newport (104).
 
Ghahary collected his first All-NJAC honor after starting all 10 games at nose tackle, producing 30 tackles (3.5 for loss) along with a sack and a fumble recovery.
 
Patscher was also a force at defensive tackle, earning his second career second-team All-NJAC nod with 43 tackles and a sack. He also ranked second in the nation with four blocked kicks, just one off the Division III lead.
 
Westerby received All-NJAC honorable mention for the second year in a row. He was second on the team in total tackles (63.0) and sacks (2.0) while ranking third in tackles for loss (4.5), and was recently named to the D3football.com Team of the Week after his performance in the finale against undefeated Christopher Newport, when he racked up 12 tackles and forced a pair of fumbles.
