SPARTANBURG, S.C. – For the first time since 2016, the TCNJ men's cross country squad ended their fall season at the NCAA Championships.
This year, the Lions placed in 32
nd as a team at the Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Matt Granizo paced the pride with his 174
th-place finish (25:49.1).
Kevin Matthews and (26:04.9),
Moksh Patwari (26:10.8) followed later inside of the top-200 in 206
th and 220
th respectively.
Evan Melito (253
rd, 26:32.9),
Phil Pace (264
th, 26:48.4), and
Brandon Chen (281
st, 27:12.4) made up the Lions' final three finishers.
Josh Santiago was also in action, but was unable to finish.
The Lions have now concluded their historic 2025 season, a remarkable campaign in which they claimed their first regional championship since 2005 and their first NJAC title since 2021. The Lions also had their first individual regional champion since 2002 in
Brandon Chen, who became TCNJ's first individual NJAC champion since 2019.
