PITMAN, N.J. – With a dominant performance in the NJAC Championship, the TCNJ men's cross country team swept the conference's major awards while naming seven runners to the all-NJAC teams.
Brandon Chen, the program's first individual champion since 2019, was named Runner of the Year.
Josh Santiago led all freshmen with his finish over the weekend, garnering Rookie of the Year honors. Finally, the coaching staff of
Justin Lindsey, Michael Walker, and Cassidy Quinn were named NJAC Coaching Staff of the Year.
Joining Chen on the 1
st Team were
Kevin Matthews,
Matt Granizo,
Phil Pace, and
Moksh Patwari. Matthews finished in 3
rd place to gain his third career All-NJAC award; this year, however, was his first time earning a place on the 1
st Team. Granizo finished 5
th, marking his name on the 1
st Team for the second time in his career after having done so previously in 2023. Pace, last year's Rookie of the Year, finished just after Granizo to be named to the All-NJAC team for the first time in his career. Finally, fellow sophomore
Moksh Patwari finished in 7
th to get his first career All-NJAC honor as well.

Josh Santiago were the two Lions named to the 2
nd Team. Melito ran to an 8
th place finish while Santiago finished in 10
th. As a result, TCNJ claimed 7 out of the top 10 spots in the NJAC Championship.
