PITMAN, N.J. – A pair of TCNJ football players garnered weekly awards from the NJAC on Monday.
 
Jameson Sessa repeated as Defensive Player of the Week, while Albert D'Alessandro III was named Special Teams Player of the Week.
 
Sessa turned in another huge performance with two sacks among three tackles for loss in Saturday's 44-30 loss to Rowan. The senior finished with seven total tackles - going over 100 for his career - and also added a pass break-up, and Sessa increased his career totals to 25 tackles for loss and 14.5 sacks.
 
D'Alessandro returned the second-half kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown on Saturday, the Lions' first kick return TD since 2012. He also started at defensive back and recorded three tackles.
