Najdzinowicz Headlines Men's Soccer's Five All-NJAC Selections

11/4/2025 11:05:00 AM

PITMAN, N.J. - The TCNJ men's soccer team had five student-athletes earn All-NJAC honors, as released by the league office this afternoon, headlined by Sean Najdzinowicz's selection as the conference's Goalkeeper of the Year.

The freshman was joined by Chris Meder on the First Team while Matt Will and Lawrence Mancino earned spots on the Second Team. Matt Maceri rounded out TCNJ's honorees with an Honorable Mention nod, giving the Lions five All-NJAC selections for the first time since 2021.

Najdzinowicz is just the third player and first freshman in program history to be named the NJAC's Goalkeeper of the Year following an outstanding debut campaign for the Lions. The freshman paced the conference in save percentage (.864) and shutouts (4) while ranking second in goals allowed per game (.750) in NJAC play, helping TCNJ lead the league in goals allowed average (.79) across all contests.

Meder's First Team selection comes as no surprise following a breakout junior campaign in which he was the driving force behind a potent Lions attack. Starting all nine NJAC matches, Meder tallied three goals and a conference-best four assists, all of which came in TCNJ's final five games to help the Lions earn the right to host an NJAC Tournament game for the first time since 2013.

Will was the fire to Meder's ice en route to earning Second Team honors in his first season in Ewing. The freshman served as one of the top threats in the conference all year, pacing the NJAC in game-winning goals (3) while ranking third in goals (5) and fourth in points (11). Will found the back of the net in three of TCNJ's final four games to end the regular season, including game winners against both Rutgers-Newark and William Paterson.

Mancino was the leader on the other side of the field for the Lions, garnering a Second Team nod after starting all eight conference games he appeared in at the center back position. Competing in his first season of collegiate soccer, the sophomore was instrumental in TCNJ ranking second in the conference in goals against average (1.00) in NJAC play. Mancino also scored a pair of goals during the Lions' non-conference slate – a pair of game winners against  Penn State Berks and Keystone – proving to be one of TCNJ's top aerial threats off set pieces.

Maceri rounded out the Lions' five All-Conference honorees with his Honorable Mention selection. One of just two players to appear in every minute of TCNJ's nine conference games, the freshman worked alongside Mancino to lead a young TCNJ backline that earned four shutouts in its final six games, adding his first collegiate goal in the Lions' 2-0 win over Rutgers-Camden.

TCNJ's five All-NJAC selections will look to lead the Lions to the NJAC Championship game for the first time since 2010 when they face off against 17th-ranked Montclair State in the semifinal Wednesday. Nov. 5. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
