Men's Soccer Trio Named to All-Region Teams

12/2/2025 12:00:00 PM

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The TCNJ men's soccer team had three student-athletes named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region teams, as released by the organization this morning. Chris Meder was a First Team selection while Sean Najdzinowicz was named to the Second Team, with Matt Will earning a spot on the Third Team.

Meder makes his All-Region debut after putting together a historic campaign in which he paced TCNJ in goals (13), assists (11) and points (37). The junior's 11 helpers ranked seventh in Division III in 2025 and were the fourth-most in a single season in program history, helping Meder become the first player to eclipse double digits in both goals and assists in the same season since Jason Cairns did so in 1997.

Meder's year was highlighted by his performance in the NJAC Semifinals against 20th-ranked Montclair State in which he scored four goals – becoming the first Lion to do so since 2017 – to punch TCNJ's ticket to the championship game for the first time since 2010.

Najdzinowicz pairs his NJAC Goalkeeper of the Year and All-Conference First Team distinctions with a Second Team All-Region IV selection following a strong debut season between the posts for the Lions. The freshman posted a record of 8-3-4 with a .80 goals against average and .838 save percentage across 15 starts, the latter of which ranked 18th in Division III. Najdzinowicz was especially impressive in conference play, improving his averages to a .75 goals against average and .864 save percentage while posting four shutouts.

Will rounds out TCNJ's All-Region honorees with a selection to the Third Team after finishing his first season in the Blue & Gold with nine goals and three assists. The freshman staked his claim as an All-Conference and All-Region player down the stretch for the Lions, scoring four goals – three of which were game winners – in TCNJ's final six games of the regular season to help the program secure its first home postseason game since 2013.

The United Soccer Coaches All-America Teams will be announced Thursday, Dec. 4.
