EWING, N.J. – The TCNJ women's tennis team opened NJAC play with a resounding sweep of Kean at the Tennis Complex on Friday.
 
The Lions (3-3, 1-0) made short work of the Cougars, conceding just a single game across nine contested matches.
 
DOUBLES

• Zoey Albert and Shruti Mannan won 6-0 at No. 1
• Aira Abalos and Anusha Perinkolam prevailed 6-0 at No. 2
• Elizabeth Ring and Gabriella Robinson also posted a 6-0 bagel at No. 3

SINGLES

• Albert (No. 1), Abalos (No. 2), Mannan (No. 3), Robinson (No. 4), and Ring (No. 5) all won by double-bagel (6-0, 6-0)
• Gabrielle Brideau surrendered a single game in a 6-1, 6-0 rout at No. 6

NOTES

• Abalos moved past former teammate Chase Eisenberg and into a tie for 17^th on the program's all-time list with 117 career wins
• Abalos' 69^th career doubles victory ties her for 13^th all-time
• Robinson netted her 50^th career win
