EWING, N.J. – The TCNJ women's tennis team clinched the NJAC regular-season championship with a 7-0 sweep of Stockton on Saturday.
 
The Lions (5-5, 3-0) made short work of the shorthanded Ospreys (5-2, 3-1), who have only five players and were forced to forfeit third doubles and sixth singles. TCNJ dropped one game in doubles and three in singles.
 
DOUBLES

• Aira Abalos and Anusha Perinkolam posted a 6-0 shutout at No. 2
• Zoey Albert and Shruti Mannan handled Sophia Pasquale and Kim Walsh by a 6-1 line at No. 1

SINGLES

• Elizabeth Ring was first off the court at No. 5 with the first of three double-bagels for the Lions
• Mannan (No. 3) and Gabriella Robinson (No. 4) also won 6-0, 6-0
• Albert was a 6-2, 6-0 winner over Pasquale at No. 1 and Abalos defeated Walsh 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2

NOTES

• Abalos picked up her 50^th career singles win and moved into a tie for 6^th all-time with her 73^rd career doubles win
• TCNJ will be the top seed and host both an NJAC semifinal and potential NJAC final on its home courts
