EWING, N.J. - TCNJ wrestlers
Sam Kotch and
James Romaine were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Men's At-Large Academic All-District® Team, announced earlier this week by the organization.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
An Accounting major with a 3.51 GPA, Kotch is a first-time CSC Academic All-District honoree. The junior impressed on the mat in his second season in the Blue and Gold, finishing as the Regional Championship runner-up at 141 to punch his ticket to his first NCAA Championship.
A Criminology major with a 3.6 GPA, Romaine is now a two-time CSC Academic All-District selection. Also a two-time NWCA Scholar All-American, the senior finished sixth at the NCAA Regional Championship at 184.
NCAA and NAIA Men'sAt-Large Academic All-America® First-, second- and third-team honorees will be announced on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
