6/3/2025 12:29:00 PM

EWING, N.J. - The TCNJ baseball team had four student-athletes earn Academic All-District honors, as released by College Sports Communicators (CSC) this afternoon. Ben Amon and Tyler Provost garnered the distinction for the first time in their careers while Jack O'Donnell and Gianni Marano are now two- and three-time recipients respectively.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Amon put together another strong campaign for TCNJ while working toward his MBA in Strategy, Innovation and Leadership, finishing 6-4 with a 4.18 ERA in his final season in Ewing. The graduate student solidified himself as one of the best to don the Blue and Gold, moving into first in program history in career starts (49) and innings pitched (332) while extending his record in strikeouts (283).

Amon's six wins in 2025 were the second most in a single season of his career and pushed his total to 23 – the fourth-most in program history.

Marano impressed in his lone season with the Lions en route to securing the third consecutive Academic All-District nod of his career. Also earning his MBA in Strategy, Innovation and Leadership, the graduate transfer finished the year slashing .308/.416/.530 with a team-best 17 doubles. Marano also spent time on the mound in 2025, finishing 3-2 with a 4.50 ERA in 10 appearances.

O'Donnell is now a two-time honoree following a strong junior campaign in which he slashed .277/.375/.403. A business major, O'Donnell set career-high marks in hits (53), doubles (12), home runs (4) and RBIs (37) while finishing with a fielding percentage of .977 playing primarily center field.

A marketing major, Provost burst onto the scene in his second season in Ewing en route to his maiden Academic All-District selection. After appearing in just 10 games a season ago, the junior made 40 starts in 2025 splitting time as an outfielder and DH, hitting .262 with six home runs and 29 RBIs. Provost's season was highlighted by a three-game stretch in which he hit four home runs and tallied seven RBIs.
