PITMAN, N.J. – Nina Branchizio,
Malin Jasinski,
Rayhanah Ahmed, and
Gavin Formon headlined a lengthy roster of TCNJ student-athletes who were recognized on the 2024-25 NJAC All-Academic Team, released Monday by the league office.
The Lions racked up 186 All-Academic Team honorees, just six off Montclair State for the league lead.
Branchizio and Jasinski were the Lions' two nominees for the All-Academic First Team, while Ahmed and Formon were the two nominees for the All-Academic Second Team.
Each full member institution selects one female and one male for both the First and Second All-Academic teams. The members of the First and Second All-Academic teams were honored at the annual NJAC Awards Brunch in mid-June.
Branchizio was named NJAC Player of the Year in women's basketball after a senior campaign in which she broke TCNJ's single-season and career records for 3-pointers. A first-team All-NJAC and first team all-region selection, Branchizio became the third player in program history to collect College Sports Communicators Academic All-America recognition with a third-team nomination.

He leaves TCNJ as the program's all-time leader in receptions with 169, and his 2,053 career receiving yards place him second on the all-time charts. The NJAC Offensive Player of the Year, Jasinski was also a first-team Academic All-America selection by the CSC, the first in program history to attain that honor.
Last year's All-Academic First Team selection for the Lions, Ahmed (field hockey) was a second-team NFHCA All-American and the NJAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2024, collecting first-team All-NJAC and first-team all-region honors for the fourth straight year. She is a three-year member of the NFHCA National Academic Squad and the NJAC All-Academic Team.
Formon (men's swimming) swam to All-America honors in the 400 IM and the 800 free relay at the NCAA Championships and was named to the CSC Academic All-America Second Team. He was the NJAC runner-up in the 400 IM, the 500 and 1650 free, and the 800 free relay, and enters his senior season as an 8-time All-American and a three-time first-team CSCAA Scholar All-America honoree.
