PITMAN, N.J. – The TCNJ cross country teams nearly swept the NJAC weekly awards on Monday, with
Nate Kidwell claiming Men's Runner of the Week alongside Rookie of the Week recipients
Andrew Scalercio and
Malissa Morabito.
The Lions battled their way through the elements at Salisbury's Don Cathcart Invitational on Saturday, where Kidwell placed 25
th overall in a time of 26:58.90 across the 8K course. Scalercio finished 42
nd overall in 28:13.40.
On the women's side, Morabito was the first Lion across the finish line, clocking in at 24:01.30 in the 6K race to finish 23
rd overall.
Scalercio is now a two-time NJAC Rookie of the Week this fall, while Kidwell and Morabito each collected their first career conference weekly honors.
