EWING, N.J. – TCNJ's Tyler Addonisio, Anthony Edwards, Sam Kuhns, Justin Kurc, and Teddy Shepardson were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Football Team, announced Tuesday afternoon by the organization.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Football Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on January 27.
 
Addonisio made an immediate impact as a transfer from Franklin & Marshall, starting most of the season at right guard and helping to pave the way for an offense that ranked 34^th nationally in rushing yardage (207.7 YPG) and led the NJAC in average time of possession (31:58 per game). Named to the All-NJAC second team, he is now a two-time Academic All-District honoree.
 
Edwards played in all but one game as a rotational defensive back in 2025, finishing his junior season with 10 tackles.
 
Kuhns enjoyed a strong sophomore campaign as a starting corner, finishing fifth on the team with 33 total tackles. He also had an interception, blocked two kicks, and returned a fumble for a touchdown.
 
Kurc was a third team All-Region and first team All-NJAC standout this past fall. The senior co-captain continued his ball-hawking ways, picking off three passes in NJAC play and returning one for a score. A two-time Academic All-District recipient, Kurc paced the pride with six interceptions, giving him 11 for his career.
 
Shepardson moved into the starting lineup as a sophomore, making eight starts at center alongside Addonisio on the offensive line.
