SALISBURY, MD – On Saturday, the TCNJ men's cross country team showed no signs of wear after having their originally scheduled meet on Friday canceled due to heat. The Lions, fueled by a trio of top-ten runs, took first place at the Don Cathcart Invitational.
Phil Pace led the Lions for the second time this season, posting a third-place finish in 24:51.9 over the 8-kilometer course.
Joshua Santiago finished a couple of spots after Pace, logging a time of 24:58.6 which was good enough for fifth place.
William O'Donovan was the third and final Lion in the top ten with his tenth-place run in 26:02.2.
The next three Lions to cross the finish line all did so among the first fifteen runners.
Sean Haggerty placed 12
th (26:05.3),
Will Evarts placed 14
th (26:08.5), and
Simon Bernhardt placed (26:16.0).

st, 26:42.0),
Moksh Patwari (30
th, 27:15.0), and
Andrew Scalercio (37
th, 27:39.5) rounded out the race-winning Lions in Salisbury.
The Lions now look ahead to next Saturday's trip to Newark, New Jersey, where they will compete at the NJIT XC Invitational.
