PITMAN, N.J. – Brigitte Racey repeated as Goalkeeper of the Year to headline five All-NJAC honorees from the TCNJ field hockey team.
The graduate netminder was joined on the All-NJAC First Team by senior
Jadyn Huff, junior
Rachael Tetzlaff, and freshman
Avery Gower, while junior
Prisha Dhruve received honorable mention recognition.
Racey becomes just the second player in program history to earn multiple NJAC Goalkeeper of the Year accolades, joining Shannon Syciarz, who captured the honor in 2010 and 2011. She has made the most of her fifth season, leading the league with six shutouts and an .813 save percentage. Racey's 1.24 goals-against average is a narrow second among NJAC keepers.
Racey has posted three double-digit save performances this season, including a 17-save effort in a road shutout of Haverford and a 14-save tally the next game against Johns Hopkins, after which she was named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week. Racey is now a three-time first team All-NJAC selection for her career, and currently ranks third in program history in both starts (69) and saves (337).
Huff is a repeat first-team honoree thanks to another stellar season in which she has paced the Pride in goals (13), assists (8), and points (34), good for a top-five position among the league leaders in all three categories. Huff scored both goals in a season-opening win at Catholic and all three goals in a 3-0 win at Haverford, and has recorded a point in nine of her last 11 games, including the game-winning goal in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's 1-0 victory over Stockton in the semifinals. The 2025 NJAC Offensive Player of the Year, Huff was a third team All-American and first team All-Region honoree a year ago.
Tetzlaff has continued her trajectory as a tremendous two-way force for the Lions, ranking fifth in all of Division III with nine defensive saves while putting up career highs in goals (5) and points (13) on the offensive end. A weapon on both offensive and defensive corners, Tetzlaff had both a goal and a defensive save against nationally ranked powers Johns Hopkins and Ursinus. Like Huff, Tetzlaff is an All-NJAC first teamer for the second year in a row. She has started all 55 games since she stepped on campus and is the program's career leader in defensive saves by a wide margin with 25.
Gower scripted a sensational rookie campaign, playing every minute of every game as well as an integral role for the Lions. She scored the game-winning goal in the second half of a critical 2-1 victory at Kean and netted the opening tally in the regular-season contest at Rowan, also handing out an assist in a 4-0 shutout of Stockton. Gower notched her second defensive save in last weekend's loss at No. 7 Salisbury.
Dhruve makes her well-deserved debut on the All-NJAC roster in her third and final season of collegiate field hockey. The junior, who is graduating in just three years, has started every game in the midfield over the past two seasons. Working as the team's primary corner injector, Dhruve has tallied three goals – two of them in the win over Stockton last week – and three assists this season, upping her career totals to eight goals and 13 assists.
