EWING, N.J. – The TCNJ women's tennis team swept a pair of duals with Dickinson and host Drew on Sunday, capping a busy opening weekend of their spring campaign.
The Lions (3-0) dropped just nine total games to the host Rangers – posting four 8-0 bagels in singles play – before withstanding a measure of resistance from Dickinson for a second sweep.
The victory over Drew was a milestone moment for head coach
Scott Dicheck, the 350
th of his tenure with the women's program.

Elizabeth Ring and
Gabriella Robinson picked up a quick 6-0 shutout on the third doubles court.

Eleni Dakos was a 6-2 winner at number two, as were
Zoey Albert and
Shruti Mannan at number one in a straightforward doubles sweep.
Dakos was one of the four Lions to post an 8-0 bagel in singles, rolling past Natalia Zamora at number one.
Albert conceded a single game to Riley Roesel in an 8-1 win at number two, and Mannan locked up the dual with an 8-0 sweep of Madison Williams at number four.
Brideau (No. 3) and Ring (No. 6) were also 8-0 winners, while Robinson capped off the match with an 8-4 victory against Danielle Pettoni at number five.
TCNJ 7, Dickinson 0
The Lions got more of a challenge from the Red Devils, but managed to remain unscathed by prevailing in a handful of relatively close matches.
Ring and Robinson cruised to another 6-0 bagel at third doubles, and Dakos and
Gabrielle Brideau were close behind with a 6-1 victory in the second flight to sew up the doubles point.
Albert and Mannan got a stiff test from the Red Devils' top tandem, but dug their way out of a 4-1 hole with a run of five straight games to snatch a 6-4 comeback win.
Dakos downed Jenna Crain, 8-3, on the top singles court, and Albert claimed an 8-4 decision against Alicia Steele at number two, which served as the clinching point following Mannan's 8-2 triumph over Merve Uyumazturk at number four.
Brideau edged Natasha Sharnoff, 8-5, at number three singles, Robinson was an 8-2 winner at number five, and Ring polished it off with an 8-0 shutout at number six.

- Dicheck has accumulated 351 wins on the women's side and another 258 as head coach of the men's program
- Ring did not concede a single game in her six matches for the weekend (three singles, three doubles), a winning streak of 38 consecutive games
- Albert now has 93 total wins for her career
- Robinson is two wins shy of 50 career doubles triumphs
- Mannan's next win will be her 50th
