EWING, N.J. – The TCNJ women's tennis team stayed undefeated with a 7-0 shutout of Washington College on Wednesday, sweeping the Shorewomen in a match that was closer than the final score indicated.
Gabrielle Brideau and
Eleni Dakos each came back from a set down to pull out three-set singles victories for the Lions (9-0), who also got a third-set super tiebreak win from
Gabriella Robinson in singles play.
Dakos and Brideau were first off the court with a 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles, enjoying a much easier time than singles proved to be.
Zoey Albert and
Shruti Mannan were moments behind with a matching 6-1 victory on the No. 1 court to seal the doubles point, and
Elizabeth Ring and Robinson completed the sweep via a 6-2 triumph on the No. 3 court.

With the match already decided, each of the remaining three courts went the distance.
