EWING, N.J. – The TCNJ men's tennis team celebrated Senior Day with a pair of non-conference sweeps on Sunday afternoon.

Harrison Maitland-Carter,
Brett Schuster,
Alberto Thomas, and
Asa Wong with their commemorative senior banners, the Lions methodically went about the work of sweeping past Farmingdale State and Muhlenberg by matching 7-0 decisions.
Schuster and Thomas opened the Farmingdale match with a 6-1 win at number two doubles in their return as a tandem, while fellow seniors Maitland-Carter and Wong prevailed 6-3 at number one.

Logan Knasiak picked up a 6-2 win out of the third doubles slot.
Lions young and old cruised in singles play. Thomas (6-1, 6-4) and Chan (6-3, 6-2) won in straight sets on the top two courts.
Rookies
Faris Shehata (6-0, 6-1 at No. 3),
Tomas Velez (6-4, 6-2 at No. 5), and
Ethan D'Souza (6-0, 6-0 at No. 6) all won in straight sets, as did
Aidan Twamley at number four (6-4, 6-1).
Maitland-Carter and Wong won 6-1 at number one doubles against Muhlenberg, with Schuster and Thomas (No. 2) and Arudi and Velez (No. 3) holding on for 6-4 victories in flights two and three, respectively.
Maitland-Carter won 6-2, 6-2 at number one singles, with Chan claiming a 6-2, 6-1 triumph at number two. Fellow senior Schuster played in the number five slot and notched a 6-2, 6-2 victory.
Shehata was a 6-4, 6-1 winner at third singles, while Twamley cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 rout at number four and Knasiak toughed out a 6-4, 6-4 decision at number six.
