Women's Tennis Trio Tabbed to Academic All-District Team

5/12/2026 12:00:00 PM

EWING, N.J. – Three members of the TCNJ women's tennis team were recognized with Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators (CSC), the organization announced on Tuesday.

Zoey Albert, Gabrielle Brideau, and Elizabeth Ring were all rewarded for their standout performances both in the classroom and on the court.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced next month.

A Biology major with a 3.95 GPA, Albert is a repeat Academic All-District honoree. The junior already ranks within the top-15 in modern-era program history (since 1992) in combined wins (119, 12th), doubles wins (66, 20th), and singles wins (53, 14th), and has earned All-NJAC honors in both singles and doubles each of the last three seasons. She finished 16-3 at No. 2 singles and 16-4 at No. 1 doubles alongside Shruti Mannan this past season.

Majoring in Visual Arts with a 3.62 GPA, Brideau went 17-2 alongside Eleni Dakos at No. 2 doubles this spring and posted a 9-8 mark at No. 3 singles. She was named All-NJAC in both singles and doubles.

An English major with a 3.81 GPA, Ring enjoyed a sensational sophomore campaign in which she racked up 42 combined victories – good for 12th in a single season in program history. Her 23 doubles wins with Gabriella Robinson were just two shy of the single-season school record, and she earned the first all-conference honors of her career with an All-NJAC accolade in both singles and doubles.
