CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Powered by a pair of top-three individual finishes, the TCNJ women's cross country team picked up its first team win of the season in convincing fashion at the DeSales Invitational.
 
Teagan Walker highlighted the 6-kilometer race with a second-place finish in 23:22.40, and she was followed across the finish line a few seconds later by junior Ella Daly in third (23:27.70). Three other Lions—Alexis Smith (8^th, 24:04.20), Malissa Morabito (9^th, 24:22.90), and Ava Biemuller (10^th, 24:38.50)—joined them in the top ten finishers.
 
With TCNJ's top five runners finishing inside of the top ten, the Lions won comfortably on 32 points. The four remaining TCNJ runners all placed inside of the top fifteen, as Ella Feehan (12^th, 24:49.50), Lilla Porter (13^th, 24:51.30), Taylor Rooney (14^th, 25:08.30), and Brenna Traverso (15^th, 25:10.30) crossed the finish line one after another.
 
The Lions now look ahead to next Saturday's Purple and Gold Open in Coatesville, Pennsylvania.
