HOBOKEN, N.J. - The 14th-ranked TCNJ women's soccer team wrapped up its two-game road trip with a match against in-state foe Stevens Wednesday night, settling for a 0-0 tie against the Ducks. The draw is the third straight in the series between two of New Jersey's finest, and moves the Lions to 4-0-2 on the season.

It wasn't until about halfway through the opening 45 minutes that TCNJ's
Emily Weidner generated the game's first real chance. Reilynn Carr carried the ball down the right sideline and cut inside before sending a pass to
Jenny Ward. The junior saw her classmate overlapping just outside the box and let the ball run between her legs, but Weidner's one-timer rattled off the crossbar to keep the game scoreless.

The sides alternated what few scoring opportunities came over the remaining 20 minutes, but none tested the Lions'
Ellen Williams or Stevens' Maria O'Brien, sending the game into halftime level.

TCNJ dominated the second half, outpacing the Ducks in shots (11-6) and corners (7-1) in search of a winner, but up to the task was O'Brien, who made all five of her saves in the stanza to keep the visitors off the board. Williams had her number called just once for the Lions, but the junior's diving save on a shot headed for the top corner proved critical en route to the 0-0 draw.
