Chase Misiura joined the Lions in January of 2007 after playing for Kean University in the fall of 2006. While playing for the Cougars, he racked up 39 yards on eight carries in six games played and match-up against his older brother Austin in the Kean-TCNJ match-up on special teams.

He is coming off an impressive “rookie” debut as a Lion in 2007 where he played in all 12 games and rushed for 337 yards with four scores. Misiura returns this fall as one of the team’s top ground gainers and he will be looked to pick up where graduation losses have hit the Lions’ ground game.

He added his first career 100+ rushing performance as the Lions defeated SUNY Cortland 30-0 after carrying the ball 23 times for 108 yards with a score. He added four 50+ rushing performances as well in 2007, including a 53-yard effort in the Lions’ NCAA win over RPI.

A health and exercise science major at TCNJ, he is the middle Misiura brother to dot the Lions’ 2008 football roster and is the son of a former Lion linebacker, Rik Misiura who excelled for the Lions and current head coach, Eric Hamilton.
