A transfer from Fairfield University, Luke Wepy made the most of his first season with the Lions in 2001. He helped the Lions average 132.8 yards per game in rushing offense, which ranked third in the league. The Lions also connected on 38 touchdowns, up considerably from the previous season’s 28 touchdowns. An aggressive player, Wepy sees the whole field and is able to make the key blocks when necessary.

He is coming off a strong season that saw the junior help the Lions rank second among the league’s leaders in scoring (29.7 ppg), while also ranking third in total offense with 360.0 yards per game and second in rushing offense (167.6 ypg). The Lions averaged 192.4 yards passing per game on the 2002 season, again surpassing the 1,000 yard mark for the second straight year.

He will be looked to for an increased role this fall as the Lions will need to fill spots on the line due to graduation and he will be an important player for TCNJ this year.

A team captain at Absegami High School, he is a law and justice major at TCNJ.
