A two-year letterwinner for the Lions, Jim Dabrowski played in every game a year ago for the Lions. He had 27 carries for 96 yards with a long of 20 yards. He averaged 9.6 yards per game on the ground as well as 16.3 all-purpose yards per contest as well. He had seven carries for 50 yards with another 17 yards on a pair of kick off returns. As a Lion newcomer in 2002, he played in eight games and had 14 carries for 55 yards with a touchdown to help the squad.
Dabrowski will be looked to this season to step up his play on offense and take on a larger share of the team’s rushing game. He is a graduate of Colonia High School, where he was the 1999 special teams player of the year. He helped the team capture the White Division Championships after a 6-4 campaign. As a member of the 1996 freshman team at Colonia H.S., the team went undefeated (9-0) followed by a 7-2 season in 1997 that helped the team capture the first of two White Division Championships during his scholastic career.
A member of the Spanish Honor Society as well as the National Honor Society at Colonia H.S., he was chosen as the State Scholar-Athlete as a senior. He is a health and physical education major at TCNJ and in the son of Robert and Donna Dabrowski. He is a three-time NJAC Scholar-Athlete honoree as well as a Golden Key Honors Club member.
