The College of New Jersey Athletics

A 1986 graduate of The College of New Jersey, Mike Taylor returned to his alma mater to assist as a defensive line coach after a distinguished career in law enforcement. He is in his fourth season with the Lions.

A center with the Lions in 1977, 1978 and 1979, he earned First Team All-ECAC and All-NJAC honors as a center.

The co-founder of the Hamilton Pop Warner program, he has also assisted at Steinert High School with their summer training program and camps.

Upon graduation from the college, he served as a police officer in Princeton Borough, working as a special agent with the U.S. Office of Naval Intelligence and as a detective with the Middlesex County Prosecutors Office.
